Lou Tompkins All-Star Baseball promotes competitive baseball in Eastern Massachusetts.

The Lou Tompkins All Star Baseball League was founded for the purpose of promoting the game of baseball through organized competition. The Board of Directors has established three divisions: A Division 17u, B Division 15u and C Division 13u.

Salem Beverly Baseball typically enters a team in the A Division and the B Division. A C Division team is always a possiblity if there is enough interest by players and enough willing volunteer coaches. Roster spots on LTA teams are based on tryouts and special consideration will be given to players who participate in our Babe Ruth League. This league does require travel to other cities and towns.

LTA is another summer baseball program so the season starts after high school and Babe Ruth seasons are over. Tryouts for LTA teams take place in May, usually in conjunction with the tryouts for our American Legion team.
